This Mama turkey has been sitting on eggs for a couple of weeks now. I doubt the eggs are fertile. I slipped a chicken egg under her, in hopes we could fool her into raising a chicken, but the egg soon cracked under her weight. So, for now, she sits on, what I can only assume, are futile hours. When does one give up?

Friday, May 24th Hoping for Turkey Chicks
This Mama turkey has been sitting on eggs for a couple of weeks now. I doubt the eggs are fertile. I slipped a chicken egg under her, in hopes we could fool her into raising a chicken, but the egg soon cracked under her weight. So, for now, she sits on, what I can only assume, are futile hours. When does one give up?
