Last weeks class was all about composition and lines. Well.....here are some lines, hopefully following the rule of thirds.
If you can't tell....it's a picture of my weaving.

Tuesday, October 15th Sharing a Picture from Don and Scotts Canoe Trip

Don and Scott spent the weekend paddling from Little Tupper Lake to Lake Lila. Here's a picture of the start and the glorious weather they began with. They had a great time, even though the last day was wet and rainy.

Thursday, October 10th Fire Truck.....or Truck on Fire!

Someone abandoned a truck on our property. For some reason the truck caught fire, was noticed by a passerby, who called it in to the authorities, who sent out fire trucks, firemen, news reporters and more. I caught up with it all as I was driving into the driveway and saw the fireman putting out the truck fire. In quick order the truck was picked up and towed away, leaving only a large patch of burnt grass and lots of foam. It remains a mystery whose truck it was, why it ended up on our property, and why it caught on fire. Spooky.

Saturday, October 5th A Poor and Illegal Photo

So you can't take photos at the Flynn, but we snuck in his one on Don's phone. There was a great coming together of many accomplished banjo players as well as a mandolin player, guitar player, bass player and fiddler. The music was fun and good. At the end there were seven banjo players on the stage along with the rest of the band. It was mostly bluegrass music but some banjo music with a twist....such as a Bach piece.
